Magnus is a songwriter, producer and vocalist educated at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. Since then his studio in Stockholm, Sweden has been the place of birth for songs cut by a number of Japanese and Korean artists.

Across his catalog, songs he has written or produced have sold over 80 million physical records, with streaming figures not included in this total. His work has reached the official Oricon charts more than 150 times at No.1, reflecting sustained chart presence rather than isolated successes.
