HYMAX started his career as a member of the Korean indie rock band Googolplex. He made his songwriting debut with the song “Hwa-AI” written for the legendary singer Cho Guan-Woo. He has been active as a K-pop songwriter/producer ever since, contributing many tracks for popular K-pop acts including Triple S, Lovelyz, I.O.I, Sistar, Jessi, Aliee, Jong-hyun(of SHINee), OCTPATH and more. His hip-hop oriented production with heavy influences from EDM makes his style very unique and stand out among others. He is currently an in-house producer for SWING Entertainment.
